📌 Use this article to understand why Betify asks you to send additional documents, which documents to send, how to send them, and how long the check takes. This article is for Betify players who received an email asking for additional documents.

Why am I asked to send additional documents?

Betify can ask you to send additional documents to confirm that the payment method you used to deposit belongs to you. This request most often comes when you request a withdrawal, but it can also come at other times.

You always receive an email explaining exactly which documents to send and how to send them.

Are additional documents the same as account verification?

Additional documents are not the same as account verification:

  • Account verification is done once, on the Verification page of your Betify account. You upload an identity document and a proof of address, and you complete a liveness check. See : How do I verify my account?

  • Additional documents are only requested by email, and you send them by email, as explained in that email.

Which documents do I need to send for my payment method?

The table below shows the additional document usually requested for each payment method you used to deposit on Betify.

Payment method used to deposit

Document to send

Bank card

A colour photo of the front and back of the card

Apple Pay

A bank statement in PDF format showing the deposits made with your card

E-wallet

A screenshot of your e-wallet account showing its email address

Cryptocurrency

A screen recording of your crypto account, following the instructions in the email

Virtual or single-use card

A confirmation document from the service that created the card

With Apple Pay, the card number linked to your payment can differ from the number on your card. This is why a bank statement is requested instead of a photo of the card.

The email you receive tells you exactly which documents to send. It may ask for other documents, depending on your situation.

How do I hide my card details on the photo?

When you send a photo of your bank card to Betify, hide your sensitive card details:

  • Only the first 6 and the last 4 digits of the card number must be visible.

  • Hide the same digits on the back of the card.

  • Hide the CVV, the security code on the back of the card.

Hide these details with a sticky note or a piece of paper before you take the photo. Edited images are not accepted.

How do I send my additional documents?

Send your additional documents by email, to the address given in the email you received from Betify. Write your Betify username in the email subject.

Additional documents cannot be sent through Live chat. Only send documents when an email from Betify asks you to.

How long does the check of my additional documents take?

Once you have sent your additional documents, Betify checks them within 72 hours. You receive a confirmation email once your documents are verified. You do not need to do anything else during this time.

What happens to my withdrawal while my documents are checked?

In most cases, your withdrawal stays pending while your additional documents are checked, and you do not need to send a new request.

Your withdrawal can also be cancelled. In that case, send a new withdrawal request once your documents are approved. See Why was my withdrawal cancelled?

Why am I asked for verification when my account is already verified?

Your Verification page can show all your documents as approved while you are still asked for verification, for example with a "KYC required" message when you want to withdraw. KYC (Know Your Customer) is the verification of your identity. This happens when an additional document has been requested by email.

To find the request:

  1. Check the inbox of the email address linked to your Betify account.

  2. Check your spam or junk folder.

  3. Look for an email from Betify asking for an additional document.

  4. Follow the instructions in that email.

-> This is different from a Pending status on the Verification page. Pending means your account verification documents are still being reviewed.
