What is an outright bet on Betify?
An outright bet on Betify is a bet on the final result of a tournament or competition, not on a single match. For example, you can bet on:
The winner of a tournament
The winner of a group
A team reaching a specific stage, such as the top four
A player winning an individual award, such as top scorer
When is my outright bet settled?
Your Betify outright bet is settled once the result is officially confirmed by the competition organiser, for example after the final for a tournament winner. Outright bets are settled on the official final standings or results, not on the result of a single match.
What happens if my team or player doesn't take part?
All outright bets on Betify are "all-in-run". If the team or player you bet on does not take part in the competition at all, your outright bet is lost. It is not cancelled and your stake is not returned.
A team or player has taken part once they have played at least one official match in the competition.
What happens if two teams or players finish level?
If two or more teams or players finish level in the position you bet on, dead heat rules apply on Betify. Your stake is divided by the number of teams or players sharing the position. Only that share of your stake is paid at the full odds, and the rest is lost.
For example, you bet €10 on a team to win its group, and two teams finish level at the top. Your stake is divided by 2: €5 is paid at the full odds, and the other €5 is lost.
How do bets on bracket positions work?
In tournaments such as the World Cup, Betify can offer bets before all teams in a bracket position are known, for example on the winner of a quarter-final before the qualified teams are confirmed. In these markets, your bet is on the bracket position, not on a specific team.
Once the teams are officially confirmed, the team names are updated. Your bet stays valid.
If a team is replaced or disqualified by the organiser before the match starts, your bet stays valid and is settled on the teams who actually play.
If the tournament format changes completely, for example from knockout to round-robin, bets on the affected bracket markets are cancelled.
How are bets on player awards settled?
Betify bets on player awards, such as top scorer or player of the tournament, are settled on the official decision of the competition organiser. If the award is not officially given, all bets on it are cancelled.
If the player you bet on doesn't play any match in the competition, your bet is lost. If the player plays at least one official match and is then injured or withdrawn, your bet stands and is settled on the final official result.
What happens if a team is disqualified?
If a team or player is disqualified by the competition organiser, Betify outright bets are settled on the official result, including any points deduction or sanction. Your bet is not cancelled because of the disqualification, unless the team or player was disqualified before playing any official match in the competition.
